Midwest Walnut Company is located in the heart of the walnut area with strategically located log purchasing facilities.
Through the efforts of our expert team of log buyers, Midwest Walnut selects only the highest quality raw materials. These hardwoods come directly from independent producers across the central United States, long acknowledged to be the finest area for the growing of American Black Walnut.
HEART OF WALNUT AREA
Midwest Walnut secures raw material from independent log producers in approximately a 500 mile radius. These independent log producers contract with private land owners for the harvest of their timbers. This large area from which the material is secured assures Midwest Walnut of adequate supplies of raw material, irrespective of weather conditions, while working with a large number of independent producers limits our dependence upon a limited source of supply.
Midwest Walnut attempts to maintain responsible harvest and forestry practices by working with independent contractors. Harvest is limited to mature trees to adequately mature, while allowing mother nature to regenerate timbers for future generations.
